Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze international risk transfer and alternative risk programs, including coverage/cost analysis and program graphical representation.
  • •Plan and design insurance program structure alternatives and prepare benchmarking reports on limits and programs.
  • •Prepare marketplace insurance submissions, coordinate and conduct market meetings and negotiations in coordination with Account Executives.
  • •Finalize program quotes and compare program options for client proposal presentations, including exposure, losses, coverage terms/conditions, and cost of risk.
  • •Support new business production, prepare conceptual RFP responses, and lead renewal strategy discussions as part of the account team.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience as an international broker/underwriter working on complex placements and programs.
  • •Experience building international casualty programs and participating in new business opportunities, including Account Peer Reviews and carrier form reviews.
  • •Solid understanding of insurance carrier management and underwriting teams, with strong relationships across the marketplace.
  • •Strong written and communication skills to present new business and communicate professionally with clients and carriers.
  • •A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, plus a Property and Casualty Brokers License (must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already held).
