Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and define system architecture for new or existing compute systems within the ESXi virtual hosted environment.
  • •Perform complex systems engineering tasks including compute architecture analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and security best practices.
  • •Plan upgrades and develop systems enhancements, including documented testing to meet user requirements.
  • •Maintain and operate/sustain VMware virtualization environments, ensuring compliance with required security standards and developing O&S standard operating procedures.
  • •Provide technical guidance and work leadership, support certification and accreditation, and respond to end user requests and off-hours maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related systems engineering experience.
  • •VMware virtualization expertise to support onsite and remote site activities.
  • •TS/SCI clearance required.
  • •Install, configure and manage VMware virtualization environment components including vSphere, VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Operations, ESXi, and NSX/NSX-T.
  • •Hands-on experience designing and implementing VMware Aria Operations and/or Log Insight in a production environment.
