Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute org-wide client architecture strategy for video creation, editing, and uploading within shared composers, establishing integration patterns for future formats.
  • •Build and scale new contribution formats natively in shared post and comment experiences to unlock strategic product bets and reduce creation barriers.
  • •Serve as technical anchor for the Contribution engineering team and influence the broader Content Ecosystem org by translating product requirements into technical roadmaps and driving alignment across web, iOS, and Android.
  • •Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, system design, and coding while applying judgment to validate and own final outputs.
  • •Lead engineering of highly performant client infrastructure, including zero-latency rich-text rendering, edge-optimized media upload pipelines, and offline/online state synchronization.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of professional software engineering experience as a Senior Staff Engineer or Principal Engineer on consumer-facing mobile or web client applications.
