Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day oversight by delegating/prioritizing work, removing roadblocks, and ensuring timely delivery of compute, VMware, enterprise storage, and backup services.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert for the team’s service catalog: identify customer demands, own/develop technical strategy and vision, and guide execution toward outcomes.
  • •Collaborate with project managers/Scrum masters on project timelines, execution, resource needs, risk management, and status reporting; step into project leadership when needed.
  • •Drive innovation and continuous improvement to deliver new services and improved ways of working while meeting evolving customer demands.
  • •Oversee personnel management (recruiting, hiring, performance management, training, mentoring) and incident oversight including coordination and after-action reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA and 6+ years of experience in an IT-related discipline (or equivalent).
  • •Experience overseeing a portfolio of technology services and leading day-to-day operations, maintenance, service delivery, and projects.
  • •People management experience including recruiting, hiring, performance management, training, and mentoring engineers.
  • •Experience leading technical projects and initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • •Hands-on infrastructure expertise across compute, server operating systems, virtualization, enterprise storage, and backup services, including designing, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex enterprise environments.
