Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor the Compressor Application Engineering team.
  • •Maintain expert-level knowledge of Trane and OEM compressor offerings and their application constraints.
  • •Recommend compressors for Trane equipment and validate applicability through analysis and qualification review.
  • •Partner with OEMs and Trane Applied Compression to understand compressor roadmaps and support CHVAC portfolio planning and MRD development.
  • •Coordinate with ACC and cross-functional partners to guide integration in NPD and ETO contexts and support issue resolution during design, test, and early factory builds.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related technical discipline) and at least 5 years of engineering experience in CHVAC systems, compressors, or related product development.
  • •Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA is a plus.
  • •Experience with compressor and/or HVAC system qualification or development (Trane or OEM).
  • •Familiarity with CHVAC portfolio planning, MRD development, and NPD/BOS processes.
  • •Ability to evaluate and communicate complex technical information clearly and collaborate across functions.
