Job Summary

Lead high-impact insider risk investigations end-to-end, investigating potential data exfiltration, misuse, privilege abuse, dual employment/conflicts, and other misconduct with regulatory or public exposure. Analyze telemetry across DLP alerts, endpoint, VPN, service, email, and collaboration logs; conduct sensitive interviews across regions; and produce region-specific reports aligned to global protocols. Partner with Legal, HR, Engineering, PR, and Policy to support remediation and improve detections through threat modeling.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical insider risk investigations from intake to closure, including data exfiltration/misuse, unauthorized access/privilege abuse, dual employment/conflict of interest concerns, misconduct with public or regulatory exposure, and IP tampering.
•Analyze telemetry data and indicators across regional infrastructure using DLP alerts, endpoint logs, VPN activity, service logs, and internal collaboration platform logs.
•Conduct interviews with employees and stakeholders across the Americas, applying sound judgment and cultural sensitivity.
•Write thorough, region-specific investigation reports aligned to global protocols and local legal/business context.
•Collaborate with Legal, HR, Engineering, PR, and Policy teams to coordinate outcomes and support remediation or disciplinary action; monitor external threats and public disclosures and contribute to detection gap improvements and threat modeling.

Key Requirements

•Strong technical proficiency in log data analysis, security principles (CIA, defense in depth, least privilege), IAM/SSO, cloud services, endpoint detection & response, network logs, email logs, and collaboration platform logs.
•Strong understanding of developer workflows and tools (e.g., Git, Python) and how they’re used day to day by engineers.
•Experience independently leading complex security investigations from detection through remediation.
•Experience performing endpoint, cloud, and identity-based investigations across enterprise environments.
•Ability to communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and produce investigation reports for counsel, executives, and auditors.
