Key Responsibilities

•Sample aggregates, ready mix concrete, and concrete masonry products to ensure specifications and testing parameters are met.
•Learn and support concrete production and testing procedures, including batching ready mix concrete.
•Operate and support ready mix production facilities and production equipment (including forklifts and loaders).
•Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, and external customers/inspectors to obtain mix design criteria and samples.
•Evaluate test results, prepare timely documentation, and follow OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.

Key Requirements

•Experience in the concrete industry is preferred.
•Obtain industry certifications as required for the position.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a ¾ ton pickup truck with a 20’ trailer.
•Knowledge and daily use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
•Ability to work independently and in team environments.
