Key Responsibilities

  • •Support ESSM technical execution across development and/or production programs and assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining technical rigor and coordination.
  • •Coordinate efforts across multiple disciplines and program efforts, including with external customers and stakeholders.
  • •Interpret missile, launcher, and other combat system requirements into actionable direction for program and supplier teams.
  • •Provide program leadership to Cross Product Teams and Integrated Product Teams, partnering across Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, and Global Supply Chain.
  • •Provide technical and career mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities to program engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in STEM (or related) and at least 8 years of prior engineering experience.
  • •Experience leading large, diverse cross-functional teams across system design, requirements development, verification, system integration and test, and production of complex architectures.
  • •Experience developing work plans and driving program/team execution.
  • •Experience working with leaders and customer community stakeholders to influence production program projects.
  • •Ability to provide fault tree and knowledge point plan (preferred).
