Job Summary

Turn plant operational data into practical insights that help reduce downtime, improve yield and quality, and keep production running to plan. Partner with Manufacturing Excellence and teams across Production, Engineering, and Quality to elicit reporting needs, extract and prepare datasets (especially from SAP), build and maintain Power BI/Excel/Tableau dashboards, and deliver clear, actionable analysis tied to KPI and OEE drivers. Validate outputs and support adoption through concise guides and iterative improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Elicit and clarify reporting/analysis requirements through workshops and doc reviews, translating requests into structured requirement notes or user stories.
•Extract, clean, and prepare datasets from SAP and spreadsheets (joins, completeness/consistency checks) to support analysis.
•Build and maintain Power BI, Excel, and Tableau dashboards and reports to track KPIs and answer recurring questions.
•Perform ad-hoc analysis (e.g., Pareto, trend, variance, root-cause slicing) and summarize implications in plain language with clear visuals.
•Use production and quality data to identify opportunities across downtime, yield, scrap/rework, and cycle times, linking findings to OEE levers and enabling actionable next steps.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equally strong analytical background.
•Proficiency with Power BI, Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query), and Tableau for visualization and reporting.
•Familiarity with SAP data structures and the ability to extract and transform SAP data for analysis.
•SQL skills for joins/filters/aggregations; Python familiarity is a plus for light data preparation.
•Understanding of DAX for Power BI measures and models, plus strong data quality and attention to detail (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).
