Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and implement the security construction for ByteDance’s overseas cloud products and infrastructure.
  • •Mitigate operational, configuration, and exposure risks for overseas cloud products and infrastructure to improve business-line security levels.
  • •Continuously research cutting-edge security fields and new attack/defense technologies.
  • •Contribute to security services including SDLC, vulnerability management, threat detection, emergency response, and threat intelligence.
  • •Support activities such as supply chain security, network defense, red teaming, and underground market crackdown.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with common risks, including principles, attack/defense strategies, and security governance/construction approaches.
  • •Proficiency in at least one programming language: Golang, Python, Java, or NodeJS, with ability to conduct code review and development.
  • •In-depth knowledge of security technologies in one or more areas: AI security, DevSecOps, big data, networking, virtualization, or zero trust.
  • •Strong professional ethics and interest in long-term development in cloud/security.
  • •Preferred: experience reporting high-impact vulnerabilities or winning security competitions (CTF/AWD/Exercise).
