Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate IC failures to support smooth product bring-up, optimize yield and quality, handle customer returns, and contribute to product qualification via root-cause findings.
  • •Use testers and hardware with optical fault isolation (laser stimulations such as OBIRCH/LADA, laser probing, and emission microscopy) to detect defects, design marginalities, and process issues.
  • •Modify test programs to match failure analysis requirements and interpret ATPG diagnosis reports.
  • •Use OFI/diagnosis findings to prepare nano-probing plans and guide physical failure analysis (PFA) engineers.
  • •Develop and improve debug techniques and deliver technical reports while collaborating with Q&R, foundry, physical design, test, and DFT/SW teams.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or M.Sc. with 3+ years; or Ph.D.
  • •Good understanding of VLSI circuit design and/or device physics and/or process engineering.
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • •Strong sense of ownership, commitment, and responsibility.
