Job Summary

Own complex, end-to-end product design work for an AI-native legal technology platform used by 1,000+ plaintiff law firms. Partner with product and engineering to define problems, set design standards, and improve design practices across the org. Use an AI-first workflow—LLMs, Claude, and rapid prototyping tools like Figma, Cursor, and Claude Code—to make legal workflows feel simple, trustworthy, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the full arc of design work—from defining problems and shaping approaches through launch and iteration.
•Set team-wide standards for craft and design quality, demonstrating thoughtful, rigorous, AI-native product design.
•Use AI throughout the design process, surfacing edge cases early and clarifying intent with tools like Claude.
•Prototype early and often and partner with engineers on what moves into the product.
•Establish and scale design practices and patterns across the org so AI-powered legal workflows feel simple and trustworthy.

•Fluency with design systems, including improving systems that are still maturing.
•Ability to defend design decisions and update thinking based on new information.
