Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as SPEN’s primary AI Delegate within the agreed AI governance framework.
  • •Coordinate AI governance activity, including triage, assurance checkpoints, actions, decisions, and escalations.
  • •Maintain a consolidated view of the SPEN AI portfolio (approved, inflight, and proposed).
  • •Support the maintenance and communication of the SPEN AI Strategic Roadmap.
  • •Track risks, dependencies, milestones, and decision points across the AI governance pipeline and prepare portfolio updates for senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in portfolio, programme, PMO, or governance roles within a complex environment.
  • •Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to coordinate governance and decision-making.
  • •Good AI literacy, including awareness of machine learning, generative AI, automation, and tools such as Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or AWS.
  • •Ability to manage multiple initiatives as a coherent portfolio and report on status, risk, dependencies, and decisions.
  • •Experience supporting governance forums and preparing decision materials while maintaining auditable governance records.
