Safely assist with daily hatchery transfer operations by pulling eggs from incubators, loading them onto transfer tables, and moving egg baskets into hatchers. Perform QC cycles and checks, back up egg setters, and keep the setter halls, egg rooms, and equipment clean and organized. Discard eggs via the vacuum system as required and complete routine cleaning of floors and transfer tables to support production demands.

Key Responsibilities

•Pull eggs from incubators, load into buggies, and push buggies to the transfer table.
•Load eggs onto the transfer table and stack egg baskets for transfer into hatcher.
•Complete QC cycles and checks, including backing up egg setters.
•Clean and maintain setter floors, setter hallways, hatch halls, hatchers, buggies, and transfer tables.
•Discard eggs from the egg remover into the vacuum system daily and clean egg hoppers and surrounding areas.

Key Requirements

•Good hand-eye coordination.
•Ability to read numbers and colors.
•Complete Zoetis certification as required (certification will be provided after training).
•Ability to stand and walk continuously.
•Ability to lift and perform frequent physical movements including bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
