Job Summary

Senior Flight Software Engineer responsible for developing embedded software powering Anduril’s aircraft, from device drivers to flight controller software. You’ll own end-to-end portions of the flight stack, collaborate with GNC, hardware, and manufacturing teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to SITL/HITL testing and production-ready test infrastructure to support mission-critical drone deployments.

•Design and implement vehicle control systems.
•Develop embedded software for pre-emptible Linux or RTOS applications.
•Develop device drivers, protocols, and APIs for aircraft sensors.
•Create Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) test fixtures and automation.
•Mentor junior engineers and help improve team engineering practices and test infrastructure.

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of C++ or Rust programming experience.

•Low-level device driver development experience; familiarity with both microcontrollers and application processors.
