Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Electrical and I&C discipline CAD lead for projects of all sizes.
  • •Oversee preparation of electrical and I&C deliverables, ensuring constructability, safety, and alignment with project constraints.
  • •Perform complex CAD tasks to coordinate drawings and produce integrated digital project content, resolving interface issues.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and project managers across design stages from feasibility through construction support.
  • •Manage discipline CAD execution including budgets, staffing plan, schedule updates, and prepare bills of materials and quantity takeoffs.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant power or industrial experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •5+ years of experience as a discipline CAD lead.
  • •Experience in electrical and instrumentation design, including electrical design layouts, fittings, materials, and field instruments, wiring, and control systems.
  • •Experience with common data environments (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC) and collaborative model environments (Navisworks).
  • •Hands-on proficiency with CAD and modeling tools such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and at least several of CadWorx, Revit, Solidworkx, ReCap, NX, AutoCAD Electrical, Elecdes.
