The Field CISO is a senior security advisor who shapes executive security strategy for Fortune 1000+ organizations, translating complex cybersecurity challenges into business outcomes. You will drive revenue growth alongside enterprise sales teams, lead executive engagements, and influence product direction through close interaction with CISOs, boards, and partners, while representing Fortinet at industry events and driving security thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Executive advisory: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and boards of directors at key accounts, helping them navigate evolving threat landscapes and security transformation programs.
•Revenue acceleration: Partner with enterprise sales teams on strategic deals, owning the CISO-to-CISO relationship and leading executive briefings and security workshops to advance pipeline.
•Thought leadership: Represent the company at industry events, author white papers, and create executive content to drive brand authority.
•Product influence: Act as the voice of the CISO community back into product and engineering to shape roadmap priorities.
•Security program strategy: Help customers mature security programs, including zero trust adoption, cloud security posture, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in security software, hardware, architecture, or strategy within IT and/or OT security.
•Demonstrated proficiency with security strategy, products, and ecosystems.
•Highly networked in CISO executive networks with experience leveraging relationships to promote the Fortinet brand.
•Exceptional negotiation, demonstration, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Deep expertise in at least two domains: cloud security, identity, threat detection & response, OT/ICS, or governance, risk, and compliance.
