Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain simple cycle power generating facility equipment with minimal guidance.
•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair defective plant equipment such as pumps, valves, fans, gearboxes, and turbine components.
•Perform inspections and record data from meters and gauges, including temperature, vibration, fluid levels, and water chemistry.
•Manage water chemistry for HRSG, auxiliary boiler, and cooling tower systems by adjusting chemical feed and blowdown rates.
•Maintain documentation in CMMS and ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental rules, and facility permits.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent is required.
•Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs.
•Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment, including repairing and replacing defective parts.
•Diagnose mechanical equipment problems and perform water chemistry analysis.
•Ability to operate welding and cutting equipment and use tools such as drill presses, pipe threading machines, and grinders.
