Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end manufacturing value stream operations, including machining, assembly, and testing, and supporting functions.
  • •Own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people (SQDCP) performance and drive schedule attainment, operational flow, throughput, and customer delivery.
  • •Implement and sustain the Emerson Lean Operating System, championing daily management, visual management, standard work, and continuous improvement.
  • •Develop operating plans aligned with customer demand and the SIOP process, optimizing labor, inventory, equipment, and capital resources.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, planners, engineers, and value stream leaders while building accountability and succession planning; partner cross-functionally to remove constraints and improve performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; or 8 years of experience in discrete manufacturing.
  • •4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience leading high-mix, configure-to-order manufacturing operations.
  • •Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence principles.
  • •Proven ability to lead supervisors and cross-functional teams with excellent communication and coaching skills.
