  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to support sales, partnerships, and vendor purchases, with primary focus on service agreements, software licenses, data processing agreements, and NDAs.

  • •Develop and contribute to processes, policies, and playbooks to scale the organization and improve effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a law degree from an accredited U.S. institution and qualified to practice law as an in-house U.S. attorney.
  • •6+ years post-qualification experience handling commercial transactions (e.g., SaaS and software licensing, IP licensing, distribution/resale, and vendor contracting) with enterprise and regulated industries.
  • •Experience working in an in-house legal department in the tech sector (bonus for AI companies).
  • •Comfort negotiating data processing agreements with working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA as applied to commercial contracts.
  • •Strong drafting and communication skills for non-lawyers, including negotiating enterprise customer agreements on the customer’s form.
