Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the development and implementation of a bank-wide procurement strategy to drive long-term sourcing and maximum value from key vendor relationships.
  • •Develop and implement a pan-ADCB procurement framework to ensure best value procurement across goods and services, including infrastructure, technology, risk and insurance, consultancy, and other services.
  • •Oversee bank-wide or infrastructure procurement initiatives, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and demand planning.
  • •Maintain relationships with critical suppliers, partners, and third parties to negotiate supply-side terms and build effective long-term supply contracts.
  • •Manage self and team performance through objectives, feedback, and team development; contribute to budgeting and monitor financial performance against budget.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 8 years of experience leading a large procurement function with progressively more complex responsibilities.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • •CIPS accreditation or equivalent.
  • •Experience managing vendor selection, contract negotiation, and demand planning at a bank-wide or infrastructure level.
  • •Ability to manage and develop a team in line with people management policies and practices.
