Job Summary

Shape Zurich’s Cyber portfolio as a senior member of the Cyber team within Global Specialty. Lead and execute the Cyber underwriting plan for complex, high-value Cyber/Tech PI risks, applying underwriting strategy, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization. Use data, portfolio insights, and market intelligence to spot trends and support innovation. Build trusted relationships with brokers and customers, collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, and provide technical leadership through coaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization.
•Underwrite complex and high-value Cyber/Tech PI risks in line with appetite, guidelines, and pricing frameworks while maintaining risk quality and governance.
•Use data, portfolio insights, and market intelligence to guide decisions, identify trends, and support product and underwriting innovation.
•Build and maintain relationships with key brokers and customers, acting as a trusted point of contact for Cyber/Tech PI.
•Provide technical leadership by coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to shape underwriting strategy.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a Cyber and/or Tech PI Underwriter or Broker with strong market contacts and a track record of delivering profitable growth.
•Deep understanding of Cyber and Tech PI exposures, controls, coverages, and emerging trends.
•Strong technical underwriting skills with a commitment to risk quality, governance, and best-practice pipeline management.
•Strong business and financial acumen, including interpreting P&L drivers and supporting sustainable portfolio performance.
•Experience providing technical leadership, coaching, or mentoring to others and translating strategy into execution.
