Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers delivering distributed microservices and full-stack solutions.
  • •Drive solutions that help meet regulatory needs across the credit journey (marketing, product offers, and real-time transaction approvals).
  • •Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based experiences for millions of customers.
  • •Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor other engineers.
  • •Utilize and apply programming languages and cloud/container technologies; from time to time code or evaluate code.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •At least 6 years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).
  • •At least 1 year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • •Experience with at least one of: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (9+ years preferred).
  • •People management experience (1+ year required; Agile practices and open source frameworks experience are preferred).
