Key Responsibilities

  • •Work as part of the core operations team using AiOps in the incident management process.
  • •Collaborate across IT Operations, Corporate Security, Public Cloud, and Engineering to ensure high availability of Box services.
  • •Lead cross-functional teams through rapid incident resolutions using both technical and communication skills.
  • •Build tools and processes for proactive monitoring/alerting, incident response, documentation, observability coverage, and reducing toil.
  • •Apply engineering practices for architectural design, testability, scalability, and maintainability while addressing technical debt.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented or functional programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • •Experience with large-scale production operations or reliability engineering practices.
  • •Experience working with Kubernetes and public cloud (preferred GCP or AWS).
  • •Comfort communicating to a broad audience and leading through major service outages.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent technical discipline/experience).
