Job Summary

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare data platforms on Microsoft Azure. Drive end-to-end architecture for ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and analytics, including modernization of legacy healthcare data systems. Build large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Databricks and lakehouse/data lake patterns, and define enterprise data quality (DQ) frameworks with validation, monitoring, and lineage. Partner with healthcare stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver enterprise cloud data transformation.

Key Responsibilities

•Design enterprise-scale healthcare data platforms on Microsoft Azure with scalable, secure, high-performing cloud-native architecture.
•Define end-to-end architecture for ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, and analytics; modernize and migrate legacy healthcare data systems to Azure.
•Design and implement large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines, including batch and real-time processing using Azure Databricks; build ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured healthcare data.
•Define and implement enterprise data quality (DQ) frameworks with controls, automated validation/monitoring, and data lineage/metadata/governance practices.
•Partner with healthcare stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions; lead architecture reviews and technical workshops.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of IT experience focused on data engineering and cloud architecture.
•5+ years of hands-on Azure data platform experience.
•Strong expertise in Azure data engineering and data architecture (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, Azure SQL, Functions, Purview).
•Experience building enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines and lakehouse/data lake architectures (including Delta Lake).
•Strong healthcare domain experience, including EMR/EHR, claims, patient/provider/clinical data, plus healthcare compliance and data privacy considerations.
