Own the full non-technical lifecycle of a Forward Deployed Engineering engagement, partnering with Account Executives to build C-suite trust and scope $10M+ business value. Lead discovery to map customer political and technical landscapes, define the pilot MVP and success criteria, and author PRDs that guide engineering execution. Drive agile delivery, run the Day 0 launch war room, and land full adoption through feedback and iterative improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Sales to perform deep discovery, map the customer organization, quantify business value, and define the pilot (MVP, success criteria, timeline).
•Author the PRD, prioritize the engineering backlog, manage scope relentlessly, and act as a primary hands-on QA tester.
•Drive agile project execution by managing stakeholder communications and escalating to unblock technical or political issues.
•Own Day 0 launch, run the war room, capture user feedback, iterate, and prove the defined business value through adoption.
•Scope ongoing maintenance, create customer documentation/training, and identify the next high-value FDE engagement.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•2+ years as a Deployment Strategist or 2+ years at a high-growth startup in a builder/founder capacity; alternatively 5+ years in a senior, client-facing product or delivery role.
•Demonstrated experience in value-based scoping (TCO/ROI), managing agile software projects, and writing PRDs.
•Ability and interest to travel up to 50%.
•Executive presence with strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and drive decisions quickly.
