Job Summary

Own and evolve a core Unity platform used by developers worldwide, delivering secure, scalable production infrastructure. Tackle complex multi-tenant infrastructure challenges (tenant isolation, policy enforcement, cost allocation, SOX compliance) and help scale shared Kubernetes clusters. Collaborate with engineering and Site Reliability teams to improve service applications, deployment practices, and cloud infrastructure standards, with a focus on automation, observability, and well-documented systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Solve complex multi-tenant infrastructure challenges including tenant isolation, policy enforcement, cost allocation, SOX compliance, and scaling shared Kubernetes clusters.
•Help define the direction for cloud infrastructure standardization at Unity.
•Partner with engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams to improve service applications, infrastructure, and deployment practices.
•Contribute to platform capabilities across areas like secrets management, policy enforcement, deployment pipelines, cost attribution, and security hardening.
•Develop your skills by working on evolving solutions and delivering concrete impact through repeatable, observable, well-documented systems.

Key Requirements

•Experienced as a developer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and infrastructure-as-code, including building and operating production infrastructure.
•Strong experience with GCP and exposure to AWS and Azure, with understanding of common cloud service trade-offs to make sound architectural decisions.
•Track record delivering platform capabilities such as secrets management, policy enforcement, deployment pipelines, cost attribution, or security hardening.
•Ability to influence through high-quality technical work and clear communication, including writing proposals and contributing to technical discussions to build alignment.
•Experience partnering with development teams to improve service resiliency by applying reliability engineering principles using existing tooling and processes.
