Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and analysis (as-is/to-be) for Freight workflows including quote-to-book, documentation, customs clearance, shipment tracking, billing inquiries, and claims.
  • •Diagnose root causes of delays, documentation errors, billing discrepancies, and escalations using data analysis; design targeted improvement solutions.
  • •Lead cross-functional, cross-geography process improvement projects using Lean/Six Sigma DMAIC and Kaizen across air/sea/road modes from initiation to benefits realisation.
  • •Define and track process KPIs and control plans (e.g., transit time adherence, documentation error rate, billing accuracy, claims resolution time, customer effort score) and embed governance to sustain gains.
  • •Drive change management and adoption of redesigned processes and digital tools, partnering on requirements for process digitisation and automation and ensuring compliance across geographies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related; Master's degree an advantage.
  • •Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum 15+ years overall experience in business process engineering, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • •10+ years within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain, including working knowledge of air, sea and/or road freight operations.
  • •Mandatory experience with freight/forwarding systems (e.g., TMS, CargoWise or similar) and strong understanding of freight operations and customs/trade compliance considerations.
