Key Responsibilities

  • •Process meat products for consumers using hand tools, knives (if trained), machinery, and other equipment.
  • •Maintain a safe and efficient production line and help create a positive work environment.
  • •Work your scheduled 2nd shift and support production demands, which may include overtime.
  • •Follow safety requirements including wearing hard hat, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes.
  • •Perform physically demanding tasks in noisy, wet/humid environments while using PPE and sanitation chemicals.

Key Requirements

  • •Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • •Perform continuous/repetitive physical tasks (grasping, pinching, flexing, and extending arms).
  • •Stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12-hour shift and be able to work overtime as needed.
  • •Be willing to work around animal blood/carcass parts, cold (20–40°F) and warm (over 100°F) areas, wet/humid conditions, and sanitation/cleaning chemicals while wearing required PPE.
