Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Assess and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using personal financial planning analysis and work with advisors on investment accounts to support objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment, and market trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs/attorneys.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, managing sales activities and pipelines, and leveraging Truist segmentation and automated sales processes.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with internal IRM partners and external centers of influence to support integrated client service, business development, and compliance with audit, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, and investment management/asset allocation concepts, plus understanding of retail credit and traditional retail bank products for the mass affluent market.
  • •Active FINRA SIE and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), maintained or obtained within 100–150 days; SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant including NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
