Key Responsibilities

  • •Own carrier performance monitoring and define topline KPIs across shipping health, margin, on-time delivery, label success, scan rates, surcharges/refunds, and CX contact volume.
  • •Own carrier pricing changes and decide with Product/Engineering and business leadership whether/how to pass changes through, coordinating communications and CX readiness.
  • •Lead disruption response by monitoring carrier API changes, tariffs/regulatory shifts, policy updates, and weather events with cross-functional partners.
  • •Own shipping cost integrity by running invoice reconciliation across carriers and integrators, driving rate shadowing, and partnering to reconcile margin reporting into a single source of truth.
  • •Manage carrier relationships and negotiations, recover money via claims programs, and build/lead the carrier operations team.

Key Requirements

  • •8–12+ years of experience in parcel/carrier operations, logistics, transportation procurement, or marketplace operations.
  • •Experience owning carrier relationships and negotiations, including rate cards, surcharges, SLAs, and contract terms across multiple carriers.
  • •Deep fluency in parcel economics and cost integrity including invoice audit and reconciliation and claims recovery.
  • •Strong analytical rigor with SQL and tools like Sigma, Hex, or Looker.
