Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and install products in customers’ homes as part of a two-person delivery crew, driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
  • •Coach, develop, and assess fellow delivery drivers on home installations and customer service skills.
  • •Load the lorry with the day’s deliveries alongside the warehouse team.
  • •Represent the John Lewis brand with great customer service, handling unexpected situations for the best customer solution.
  • •Maintain a safe working environment, including efficient and quick installation and demonstrating product operation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 32,500 - 44,500 annually
Schedule:4-Day Week

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience of installation is required; installer accreditation will be provided.
  • •Manual C1 UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
  • •DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) or Drivers Qualification Card, and a Tachograph Card, by the first day.
  • •Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle and delivering in a customer-facing role.
  • •Great verbal communication skills (phone and in person) and good understanding of technology.
