Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and cross-sell. Proactively reach customers using CAMP and marketing tools, refer clients to business partners, process teller transactions, and help meet customer experience and production goals while maintaining risk and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and support periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while referring customers to business partners and supporting goals and revenue growth.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to build comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
