Oversee mechanical engineering activities across Buildings & Places construction supervision projects, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection installation, testing, and commissioning meet design specifications, codes, quality standards, and safety requirements. Provide technical leadership by reviewing mechanical design and shop drawings, guiding project teams and contractors, and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders. Maintain detailed site documentation, reports, and quantity surveys while managing compliance and project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
•Perform walk-downs and inspections to confirm installed commodities conform to specifications and design.
•Provide technical guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders; review and approve mechanical design drawings and material submittals.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to ensure timely execution of mechanical works.
•Prepare site reports and inspection records, perform quantity surveys, maintain as-built documentation, and support compliance and risk mitigation.

•Knowledge of international standards including ASHRAE, NFPA, and LEED (plus).
