Key Responsibilities

  • •Create capital sourcing strategies to reduce risk, enable continuous cost reduction, and align with payment terms, cash targets, on-time delivery, and savings.
  • •Evaluate and select suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness; maintain vendor delivery for goods and services.
  • •Execute purchasing transactions by issuing purchase orders and supporting delivery for SpaceX programs.
  • •Conduct supplier analysis and run RFIs/RFPs, document bid events, and negotiate suppliers while managing contracts and terminology.
  • •Drive make-vs-buy decisions and cost reduction projects across stakeholders, including tracking sourcing performance metrics monthly.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling; or 4+ years in one or more of these areas.
  • •Experience executing purchasing transactions and managing supplier relationships to support on-time delivery and cost savings.
  • •Ability to perform supplier analysis and develop strategic sourcing plans that identify suitable suppliers, optimize cost models, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • •Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills.
  • •Ability to use data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
