Job Summary

Design, build, automate, test, and sustain mission-critical network infrastructure as a hybrid Network & Systems engineer and Tactical Communications SME. Support Kubernetes platform service requirements for a Platform-as-a-Service architecture, collaborate with teams to provision RHEL servers using Kickstart/PXE-style automation, and perform secure configuration baselining, tunneling, performance optimization, and troubleshooting for deployed and enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, automate, test, and sustain mission-critical network infrastructure for deployed and enterprise operations.
•Collaborate with teams to enable bare-metal provisioning of RHEL servers using Kickstart-based automation for PXE-style rapid deployments.
•Build secure network nodes from bare metal, including firmware/software upgrades, secure configuration baselines, tunnel establishment, and performance optimization.
•Conduct in-depth network connectivity testing, analyze end-user behavior, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal throughput and reliability.
•Serve as an encryption subject matter expert and perform operational support such as remote support using Cisco CLI commands and on-site support for emergent taskings (including after-hours).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school with 9+ years (or commensurate experience).
•Clearance required: TS/SCI; must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
•Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
•Experience with containerization and microservice network architecture.
•Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for on-site and remote administrators; communicate technical ideas and deliver briefings.
