  • •Own multi-terabyte-per-day log pipelines across AWS and GCP, including ingest, routing, enrichment, schema management, and onboarding new sources.
  • •Control ingest cost and volume by reducing noise at the edge while preserving audit log needs.
  • •Model security data and tune query performance in Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift for downstream detection engineering.
  • •Ship production services and integrations, including custom SIEM connectors, API clients, and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and operating high-volume production data pipelines at multi-terabyte-per-day scale (e.g., Kafka, Cribl, Dataflow, Kinesis, CloudWatch).
  • •4+ years writing production software in Python, Go, Rust, or Java (services and tooling used by other engineers).
  • •Deep hands-on experience with AWS and GCP, including infrastructure as code and owning CI/CD pipelines on GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • •Strong SQL and data modeling in columnar warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, including partitioning, cost control, and query tuning.
  • •Experience owning reliability for a platform with on-call support, plus strong communication and collaboration.
