Job Summary

Drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver concrete mix to job sites in a safe, DOT-compliant manner. Inspect the truck daily, complete required check-off paperwork, and follow instructions including routes and delivery documentation. Operate and maneuver the mixer to unloading points, assemble and use concrete chutes, adjust equipment based on load, and clean the truck and drum to prevent hardening—while adhering to safety and attendance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
•Comply with DOT licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours-of-service requirements.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Back the truck under batching/loading hoppers to receive concrete and maneuver to the delivery point.
•Unload concrete safely, assemble chute(s), adjust equipment as needed, and clean the truck and drum after loading and delivery.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must have a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements (licensing, vehicle inspection, hours of service).
•Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
•Ability to read and interpret delivery tickets, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
