Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and analyze collection, recording, and allocation of project costs and revenue, including accurate P&L and budget vs. actual reporting.
  • •Handle lifecycle project accounting in Oracle: create project accounts, track budgets, validate invoicing, reconcile payables/receivables, and support project close-out.
  • •Perform project contract revenue and billing event accounting, including billing transaction exceptions and invoice accuracy based on contract requirements.
  • •Partner with Project Manager to establish and update project budgets as contract modifications or budget changes arise; generate and escalate financial reports as needed.
  • •Review contract and change order characteristics, maintain purchase orders for subconsultants, evaluate subconsultant invoice submittals, and support client billing and collections follow-up.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a closely-related discipline (or proven equivalent experience).
  • •1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in accounting, project contracts, and change order documents.
  • •Knowledge of project accounting principles, practices, and methods and their application to project work-related issues.
  • •Analytical mindset with ability to exercise sound independent judgment on financial-impact decisions.
  • •Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software; Oracle familiarity is preferred but not required.
