Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee corporate tax compliance and reporting, including preparation/review and filing of tax returns and ensuring timely payments and regulatory filings.
  • •Manage tax provisions and related disclosures for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing impacts.
  • •Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, including evaluating tax implications of new activities, contracts, and investments.
  • •Lead audit and risk management activities by managing relationships with tax authorities and external auditors and responding to audits and inquiries.
  • •Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and payroll teams; support process improvements and automation; and manage/develop tax staff and/or external service providers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • •CPA accounting designation.
  • •7+ years of progressive accounting and corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or industry, preferably with a big four firm.
  • •Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, indirect tax, and tax accounting under IFRS principles.
  • •Advanced MS Excel and strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
