Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand the organization’s vision and set/accomplish transportation performance goals aligned to business unit objectives
  • •Ensure compliance with DOT and governmental regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and customer standards
  • •Manage up to 30 drivers, third-party carriers, and routing functions; hire licensed CDL drivers and oversee safety and training
  • •Monitor tracking and on-time deliveries, customer service support, and service level standards; resolve issues via safety investigations
  • •Oversee on-site fueling station EPA compliance, on-board camera/electronic logs, DQ file maintenance, and fleet maintenance processes

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience managing a CDL fleet and/or transportation management in a distribution operation
