Key Responsibilities

  • •Review customer quotes/contracts and flow down contractual quality requirements to Eaton and suppliers.
  • •Generate inspection checklists and criteria, including skip lot inspections, and plan and execute First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
  • •Support failure mode avoidance and perform Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), including part approval for customers.
  • •Process Engineering Change Orders and manage nonconforming material disposition through the Non-Conforming Reporting system.
  • •Analyze and trend quality data to drive preventive/corrective actions, lead root-cause problem solving, and support customer return processes and audit activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •STEM Bachelor’s with 1 year of quality assurance or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, or STEM Associate’s with 3 years of such experience.
  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Ability to plan and execute First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102.
  • •Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102 and familiarity with problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, RCCA, 5 Whys).
  • •Ability to read and understand blueprints and specify test/equipment or oversee suppliers’ test capability.
