Lead the Financial Reporting and Tax Risk stewardship function as part of the firm’s second line of defence. Oversee the framework, standards, and processes used to assess how management manages financial reporting and tax risk, including risk appetite monitoring and control environment oversight. Provide subject matter expertise and challenge to process, risk, and control owners, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and agree the assurance plan, including RCA scoping and remediation prioritization.
