Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy, configure, and maintain SIEM platforms to enable threat detection.
  • •Normalize and onboard logs from cloud and on-premises environments for monitoring.
  • •Develop and refine SIEM rules and queries for advanced threat behavior and anomaly detection.
  • •Design incident response playbooks and integrate automation through SOAR platforms (e.g., XSOAR, Azure Logic Apps).
  • •Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, perform RCA, and document runbooks, dashboards, and security metrics; mentor junior SOC analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, or Chronicle.
  • •Expertise in SIEM query languages (KQL, SPL, AQL) plus log normalization/parsing.
  • •Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) to automate SOC tasks.
  • •Deep knowledge of cyber threat detection techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and vulnerability management.
