Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop solutions for environmental technical problems using scientific principles, theories, practices, and existing technologies with limited scope.
  • •Prepare technical work plans and reports; interpret and record data and analyze findings against local, state, and federal regulations for compliance.
  • •Plan, execute, analyze, and report on environmental measures in natural systems, including collecting soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water, and sediment samples and completing chain-of-custody paperwork.
  • •Conduct oversight of subcontractors (e.g., laboratories and excavation/drilling companies) and study contaminants to support restoration of the environment.
  • •Perform unsupervised field tasks, provide technical expertise support, coordinate with task/project managers and field staff, and direct staff when executing tasks.
