Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex contract reviews and prepare ASC 606 checklists to document technical accounting conclusions for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
•Establish fair value by supporting SSP and fair value determinations for product and service offerings.
•Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline contract accounting operations.
•Conduct technical research on ASC 606 codification to advise on complex revenue scenarios and document technical accounting memos.
•Liaise with external auditors, manage requests, and provide clear documentation for complex transactions.
•Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle to support rapid growth.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with a strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
•Demonstrated experience with government contracting (FFP, CPFF, T&M, CR) is highly desirable.
•Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Slack is a plus; Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
