Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex contract reviews and prepare ASC 606 checklists to document technical accounting conclusions for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
  • •Establish fair value by supporting SSP and fair value determinations for product and service offerings.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline contract accounting operations.
  • •Conduct technical research on ASC 606 codification to advise on complex revenue scenarios and document technical accounting memos.
  • •Liaise with external auditors, manage requests, and provide clear documentation for complex transactions.
  • •Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle to support rapid growth.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with a strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
  • •Demonstrated experience with government contracting (FFP, CPFF, T&M, CR) is highly desirable.
  • •Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Slack is a plus; Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
