Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the strategy for security engineering and where real risk is.
  • •Hire, mentor, and grow the security engineering team as the function scales.
  • •Lead identity and access management across systems.
  • •Direct security monitoring, detection, and incident response.
  • •Own security posture for AI and manage cloud security architecture/guardrails and vulnerability management end to end, partnering with compliance on SOC2/PCI work.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of security experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • •Hands-on software or security engineering background building cloud security, identity and access, and detection systems.
  • •Experience working in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, payments, etc.).
  • •Track record setting security strategy and executing it at an early- or growth-stage company.
  • •Strong communicator and collaborator with experience building trust across Engineering, Product, and other teams; preferred understanding of AI/ML risk.
