Key Responsibilities

•Provide tailings services and technical direction on complex tailings projects within the mining sector
•Lead integrated tailings and geotechnical project teams and manage project directions for high-budget assignments
•Mentor and coach junior and intermediate staff to support career growth and professional development
•Maintain and pursue new business opportunities with clients, ensuring delivery of significant project reports
•Plan, coordinate, and oversee manpower, schedules, and quality to meet project deadlines and client expectations

Key Requirements

•Relevant degree (BEng or BSc) in Civil Engineering with 14+ years of post-graduation experience in tailings and geotechnical engineering
•Honors degree (BEng or BSc) in Geotechnical field preferred
•Professional registration at ECSA required
•Legislation related to engineering design supporting water use and waste management license applications
•Financial knowledge (Understanding of Work in Progress, Accounts Receivables and DSOs)
