Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders across multiple project phases and work packages.
  • •Produce and present cost plans and final cost plans; update cost estimates at design milestones.
  • •Review contractor submissions and coordinate cost information sources for cost discussions with suppliers, subcontractors, quantities, and design teams.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, cost variances, change control, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Prepare written executive summary comments and monthly cost reports; support benchmarking and ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or actively working toward accreditation is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
