Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and recommend candidate architectures to satisfy stakeholder expectations, standards, re-use policies, and technology roadmaps.
  • •Establish solution architecture by making trade-offs across expectations, technical approaches, costs, risks, and schedule; document and approve associated artefacts.
  • •Apply systems thinking to architecture design over the product lifecycle and identify test/validation methods.
  • •Derive, model, and develop system design according to the architecture and requirements using MBSE tools.
  • •Plan and execute systems engineering activities including requirements flow-down, verification methods, milestones, and technical documentation/engineering reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience delivering conceptual and detailed system architecture, integration, and delivery for mission system programmes.
  • •Understanding of systems engineering fundamentals across design, verification, validation, qualification, and acceptance.
  • •Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering using SysML to derive system capabilities, functionalities, and behaviours.
  • •Ability to manage technical requirements flow-down and write/verify technical requirements, specifications, and technical reports.
  • •Must have SC Clearance (advantage if currently held; otherwise ability to undergo, achieve, and maintain it).
